"It's called opposition research".

Mr Trump sacked the previous FBI director James Comey over the investigation into Russian intervention in the USA presidential campaign.

Mr. President, your Federal Bureau of Investigation nominee said if someone in a campaign got an e-mail about Russian Federation like the one that your son Don Jr. received, that they should alert the Federal Bureau of Investigation, rather than accept that meeting.

The president's remarks echoed the defense his son gave of the meeting, which also was attended by former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner.

He said: "It's gonna be just fine because you have a great President".

As they were saying their good-byes, Trump turned to Brigitte Macron and gestured toward her body. "Would you repeat them today, and do you still believe that France is not able to fight terrorism on its own territory?"

Trump was expected to return to the US after the parade and Macron heads to the southern city of Nice, where previous year an extremist plowed a truck into the holiday crowd, killing dozens. I think he's doing really well. "We look very much forward to it", he added.

At the press conference with the global media said that he "had done a great service to the country" by nominating Wray. "We will see what happens..." So, we're very proud of him. "As far as my son is concerned, my son is a wonderful young man".

Trump's son Donald Trump Jr. recently admitted that he had set up a meeting past year with a woman he believed was a Russian government lawyer brandishing Kremlin dirt on Hillary Clinton. He also denied the lawyer worked for the Russian government. It was a short meeting.

Upon arriving Thursday morning, Trump proceeded to the United States ambassador's residence where he took meetings, particularly with members of the USA military and their family. "It was a short meeting as he told me - because I only heard about it two or three days ago".
