The song, penned and performed by Gallagher's bandmate brother, Noel has become the unofficial anthem of Manchester after the recent bombing and Liam performed the song at the Glastonbury Music Festival over the weekend. A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Liam and Johnny used to hang out in the 90s".

Asked by Whiley if he'd watched any of the previous day's performances, he said: "I watched Dizzee Rascal from my room".

Meanwhile, the rock legend sensationally revealed that he snubbed Radiohead's set at Glastonbury festival to watch reality show Love Island. And then I watched Love Island. That's what goes on man'.

"Without a doubt", Liam said. I've had four years of doing nothing, you know what I mean? "Now I've gone to the dark side and Love Island it is".

Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher will undertake his first solo tour of the US and Canada this fall, in support of his debut solo album, "As You Were", which is set for release on October 6.

He led the crowd in an a capella singalong of the Oasis hit Don't Look Back In Anger as he rounded off his set on The Other Stage on Saturday afternoon. However, as the track became synonymous with a fan reaction to the Manchester terror attack, Liam took the opportunity to play the number A cappella.
