You might recall Westbrook's Instagram response to KD's decision to join the Golden State Warriors last summer - a picture of a heaping helping of cupcakes. In fact, we didn't assume it had anything to do with Durant.

Yes, it was the Fourth of July, however, it turns out the term cupcake was something that players on Oklahoma City (and other teams) used to call players soft.

Fast forward to June, and Durant's an National Basketball Association champion who doesn't mind a little trolling of his own. Well it looks like Durant is getting the last laugh now.

Westbrook, without Durant had one of the best individual season in National Basketball Association history, averaging a triple double and is a finalist for MVP along with former Thunder teammate James Harden and San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard. Durant is reappropriating the insult, and this isn't the first time the Warriors have had fun with it. After the Warriors whipped the Thunder 130-114 that night, Golden State's Stephen Curry and Draymond Green got their hands on a pair of those tees and wore them during postgame interviews.

If winning a championship wasn't good enough, Durant showcased his own kind of cupcake on a hat he was wearing to Javale McGee's annual celebrity softball game on Saturday.
