He's only the second player to win 10 championships before the age of 24.

The first time Jordan Spieth won on the PGA Tour, he holed out from a greenside bunker at the 2013 John Deere Classic to force a sudden-death playoff.

Berger, who had been five back of Spieth at one stage, led last year's Travelers by three strokes after 54 holes only to lose.

Berger sank a five-foot birdie putt at the par-4 15th to reach 11-under and when Spieth missed a three-foot par putt to bogey 14, the Americans were deadlocked atop the leaderboard at 11-under, setting up the final drama.

He opened and closed with birdies in firing a 66 while Merritt shot 68 to stand on 133 with compatriots Wesley Bryan (67), Daniel Summerhays (68), Boo Weekley (68) and Chase Seiffert (66) another stroke adrift. Before Spieth's stroke, Thomas tweeted that he wouldn't be surprised if Spieth holed it.

Spieth stumbled again at the 12th, missing a seven-foot par putt to fall to 12-under, then lipped out a four-foot birdie putt before parring 13.

However, McIlroy then bogeyed the 16th and spilled another shot at the last in unfortunate circumstances as, with just 100 yards to the hole and a wedge in hand, his back foot slipped on his downswing and he chunked his approach barely 60 yards.

"That's a lot of luck", Spieth said.

Lee's only win on the tour was in 2015.

ROGERS, Ark. (AP) - So Yeon Ryu became the LPGA Tour's first two-time victor this season, taking the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship with a tournament-record 18-under 195 total.

With rain and thunderstorms predicted to continue into the morning, the golfers will be sent off in threesomes from the first hole and 10th, beginning at 10:45 a.m. He tied for 17th at 6 under. He shot a 73 to finish at even par.

Third-ranked Rory McIlroy, who made the cut on the number, switched to a half-mallet putter as he searched for better results on the greens.

Grayson Murray had the tournament's only hole-in-one, acing the 177 yard eighth hole with an 8-iron. It was a Spieth win at the Travelers, which the 23-year-old had never played until this week.
