Shot US Congressman Scalise undergoes surgery

President Donald Trump did not attend but sent a video message of support. From the Democratic side of the stadium, there were boos.

Since 1909, the annual congressional baseball game has been a popular annual partisan showdown by members of Congress, their aides and lobbyists. Hodgkinson was eventually killed by Capitol police.
