Harbaugh Wants Obamas As Honorary Captains

Jim Harbaugh, head football coach of the University of Michigan Wolverines, says he's planning to ask former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama to serve as honorary captains at a game this fall.

The Obamas would join the likes of Michael Jordan, Tom Brady and Hank Aaron, all of whom served as honorary captains at MI games in the Big House previous year. Harbaugh dropped in on them during a trip to Washington, D.C. and has worked with Michelle Obama previously on an education initiative. Official asks. In the process of making an official ask.

"We're making those asks", Harbaugh said.

"Well, we're going to ask", he said.

The former coach of the San Francisco 49ers has a long relationship with the Obamas.

Harbaugh spoke during a congressional hearing as a member of Legal Services Corporation council last Wednesday and implored lawmakers to bridge the gap in terms of access to legal representation. "We had 39 wonderful minutes with president Obama and saw Mrs. Obama, as well". Barack and Michelle Obama?

Jim Harbaugh says MI will head to Paris, Normandy and London for spring practice in 2018. "He was great. He's relaxed, working on a lot of things". He shared a lot of insights for myself, Jay (Harbaugh), John Levi.

The trip also featured a Washington Nationals baseball game, a tour of Congress and meetings with Michigan Rep.

With all the publicity around his intentions, you would expect that the Obama duo knows that this invitation is coming by now. "He's still a busy man., but that would be something".
