Remy Ma Brings Out Fellow Female Emcees; Performs "ShEther" at Summer Jam

On Sunday, Remy performed at Hot 97's Summer Jam at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Remy started by bringing Cardi B out for an amped-up rendition of "Foreva".

But the peace and love of that moment was quickly followed by a war-ready Remy. Is it mere multi-pronged spectacle (Remy bringing a ton of female rappers onstage was bound to get press, as was her performing of "SHEther", so why not just do both?).

According to SOHH.com, not only did Remy perform "ShEther", her 7-minute diss track about Nicki, but she hit the stage with guns blazing. "To be the queen of rap, you gotta actually rap / The whole industry know, bitch, your shit is a wrap".

After getting the sold-out crowd on their feet to the tune of her catalogue of hits including "Conceited" and "All The Way Up", Remy took the night up another notch and made history by turning the stage into a who's who of past and present female emcees.

Although plenty of rappers in the past have threatened to air out their business at Summer Jam-Nas planned to hang a dummy meant to look like Jay Z at Summer Jam 2002-few are really willing to take it there. The performance was led by his widow Faith Evans, and featured appearances by Lil' Cease, Total, 112, Ma$e, The Lox, Lil' Kim, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
