Moto X4 could be announced on June 30

After launching the Moto Z2 Play smartphone earlier this month, Lenovo-backed Motorola is all set to announce its another new smartphone on June 21 (Wednesday) in Brazil. The company has already started inviting people to this event to witness the upcoming smartphone from the house of Moto.

As per the previous reports, Motorola is rumoured to release nine smartphones in coming days, and one among the nine smartphones would be the Moto X (2017) or simply the Moto X4.

Now a new information leak on Twitter states that Moto X4 will be launched on June 30. But as far as reports go, Motorola is expected to announce Moto Z2 of Moto X4.

Today we are talking about the Moto X4, which is touted to be a mid range device at a price range of $325. The new Moto X4 also received a number of rumors regarding its design and other useful specifications. It will also launch with dual rear cameras and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is claimed to be powered by the recently unveiled Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, built on 14nm manufacturing process.

The upcoming Moto Z2 is expected to boast a slim design language with metallic body and 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560x1440p) resolution super AMOLED screen similar to Moto Z (2016), but under-the-hood, it said to come with major upgrades. The phone has a massive 3,800 mAh battery capacity which supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology to charge the battery in just a few minutes. The handset will have a USB Type-C port.
