Brewers: RHP Junior Guerra (0-0, 6.00 ERA) comes off the 10-day DL to face the Diamondbacks for the first time.

Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun was placed on the 10-day disabled list Friday, just five days after being activated. "Same calf, same situation".

He was removed from Thursday night's 4-0 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks because of left calf tightness. "It just kind of grabbed on me when I ran to catch that popup in the second inning".

"Today, when he fell behind in the count, they took really good swings", manager Craig Counsell said. "That's all right. It's part of the season".

PHILLIES 2, ROCKIES 1: At Philadelphia, Tommy Joseph hit a tying home run in the seventh inning and a winning single in the 11th, stopping Colorado from a four-game sweep.

Guerra was the Brewers opening day starter April 4th, but hasn't pitched since then with a calf injury. He has been sidelined since.

"I tried to pitch to contact, tried to keep the ball down and get through as far as I could", Davies said. "It feels good to be back with the team". However, he resumed baseball activities back in Arizona.

Latest on Guerra via Rotoworld: Guerra (calf) told reporters that he is preparing to start Friday against the Diamondbacks. Arizona will send out right-hander Zack Godley, who is 1-1 with a 2.45 ERA. The Diamondbacks have scored 16 runs in their last three games and four or more runs in 11 of their last 12 games.

On current pace, Braun - a one-time MVP and five-time All Star - would hit 24 home runs and produce 65 RBI this year.

"I don't know what the next level is that causes a game to not be played", Maddon said, pointing to a 2008 World Series game in Philadelphia, played in adverse conditions, that Kellogg was involved.
