He extended his prayers to the people of Manchester, extending his "deepest condolences" after the attack.

"We stand in absolute solidarity with the people of the United Kingdom".

"So many young, beautiful, innocent people living and enjoying their lives murdered by evil losers", Trump said at a joint press conference with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Mr Trump added that he refuses to the attacker "monsters" as he believes that is what they want. "Because that's what they are, they're losers".

Trump has made an anti-terrorism message central to his Middle East tour. It followed a similar situation after they landed in Tel Aviv on Monday, when Trump reached to take his wife's hand on the red carpet and she appeared to flick it away.

Our society can have no toleration of this continuation of bloodshed. "We cannot stand a moment longer for the slaughter of innocent people, and in today's attack it was mostly innocent children".

This wicked ideology must be completely obliterated, and the innocent life must be protected - all innocent lives must be protected.

Children were among 22 people killed and dozens injured in the suspected suicide bombing on Monday night at a pop concert by U.S. star Ariana Grande in Britain's deadliest extremist attack in 12 years.

Police said the attacker detonated the explosives shortly after 10:33 pm (2133 GMT) at Manchester Arena, as thousands of fans streamed out of a concert by US singer Ariana Grande.
