On May 10, in a meeting with two top Russian officials, Donald Trump reportedly revealed highly classified intelligence information about an ISIS terror plot - top secret intelligence that according to a report in The New York Times last week was passed on to the United States from sources in Israel, a country with whom the USA holds a prized and highly sensitive intelligence-sharing relationship.

According to the report, Trump disclosed some "code-word information" relating to Islamic State (IS, former ISIS/ISIL) to Lavrov and Kislyak during the May 10 meeting in the Oval Office at the White House.

Mr Netanyahu acknowledged that Mr Trump had said that old enemies can become partners. "Thank you for this powerful expression of your friendship to Israel".

Trump met various officials during a receiving line at the airport.

The Washington Post on May 15 reported that Trump told his Russian visitors about sensitive information that had been provided to the USA government through an intelligence partnership.

Trump had a friendly meeting at the residence of President Reuven "Ruvi" Rivilin, during which Trump pledged that Iran would never get an atomic bomb, but where he also made it clear that he believes the time is right for a peace agreement between Israel and Palestinians. "I've heard it's one of the toughest deals of all".

Trump traveled to Saudi Arabia with her father, stepmother and key advisers.

Allowing them to do so could have led to accusations that Washington was implicitly recognising Israel's unilateral claim of sovereignty over the site, which would break with years of United States and worldwide precedent. "There is no other way". "The peace we seek is a genuine one, in which the Jewish state is recognized, security remains in Israel's hands, and the conflict ends once and for all".

The president has spent the day parlaying a weekend full of meetings in Saudi Arabia into a rationale for a new Middle East peace framework - one that uses the region's pervasive fear and hatred of Iran as the basis of what he called 'a new level of partnership'.

Netanyahu told Trump he looks forward to "working closely" with him to advance peace in the region.

During their walk from the plane, TV cameras caught a moment when it appeared Melania Trump was not happy, seeming to brush off the President's hand.

The first was the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, built at the site where Christians believe Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrected. Trump, wearing a black skullcap, paused in front of it, then placed what appeared to be a written prayer or note between its stones, as is custom. Yet Trump is relying on platitudes and, crucially, this week's visit to Israel, to position himself as the repairer of damage created by his predecessor.

Netanyahu offered support for Trump's stated aspiration to broker the "ultimate deal" between Israel and the Palestinians.

Overheard on camera were comments from the Netanyahu's son Yair, who greeted the president and first lady and told them that he had empathy for their 11-year old son, Barron, because of the media spotlight he's been forced to endure.

"We are committed to freedom of all faiths", he said. "We can hold back Iran's march in this region and thwart Iran's unbridled ambition".

"I want you to know how much we appreciate the change in American policy on Iran which you enunciated so clearly", Mr Netanyahu, who had an acrimonious relationship with former United States president Barack Obama, told Mr Trump at his official residence.

"This is a very friendly administration and we need to be considerate of the president's requests", Netanyahu explained to his ministers, according to Haaretz. "It's not easy. America stands ready to assist in every way we can".
