The smartphone which comes with Android 7.1.1, is said to be the high-end Nokia 8. This one could be one of the variant of Nokia 8.

Meanwhile, HMD Global is gearing up to bring Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 to India.

While Nokia has announced 3 smartphones so far, none of them seem to be the "premium" segment devices that we expected them to be. A French online publication posted the images of what appears to be a prototype Nokia 9 unit hidden in a "black box".

Nokia 9 sports a Type C ports at the bottom which shows that it is not any new feature from the rest of smartphones that HMD has released.

There are two cameras on the back of the phone, reportedly a 2x13MP setup. The smartphone holds a 5.3-inch QHD display with a reported maximum brightness of 535 nits. The camera set is said to sport a similar configuration as Huawei's P series which allows capturing monochrome images separately or together with the primary lens for better color accuracy. The phone features 3GB of RAM and was running Android 7.1.1 Nougat at the time of its testing, just like the aforementioned flagship. It does look quite interesting for now. The dual 13MP camera on the rear is supported by a dual LED flash and possibly laser autofocus.

Three new Nokia devices were recently listed in the database of popular mobile benchmarking tool Geekbench, sporting a range of Qualcomm's latest chipsets.

The phone runs on the Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. A few previous rumors pointed at a hefty price tag of $700/€750, hence, we hope Nokia has something incredibly sumptuous to make this phone stand out.
