Trump Coverage More Negative Than Predecessors

Tucker noted a recent Harvard University study that found that 80 percent of the media's coverage of President Trump's first 100 days was negative.

The study looked at Trump's first 100 days and examined coverage in the print editions of The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post, as well as broadcast outlets CNN, CBS, Fox News and CNBC parent NBC, and European news outlets the Financial Times, BBC and ARD in Germany.

"Fox was the only outlet where Trump's overall coverage almost crept into positive territory-52 percent of Fox's reports with a clear tone were negative, while 48 percent were positive".

Patterson concluded that there's little doubt as to the motivation behind all the bad press.

Tucker pointed out that the Harvard study also found that 96 percent of news coverage of Trump's immigration policies was negative, compared to just four percent positive.

"Trump's coverage during his first 100 days set a new standard for negativity", Patterson wrote.

"It's not really news coverage at that point". They're in a feeding frenzy.

USA president Donald Trump has dominated the headlines since taking office ... and not in a good way. The news media gave Trump a boost when he entered presidential politics. He took up to 41 percent of media coverage which triples the amount taken by former presidents.

President Trump has insisted that his press coverage has been historically negative, and a newly released Harvard journalism study backs him up. The president has saturated almost half of all news stories, with the majority of them bearing a negative tone. Studies of earlier presidents found nothing comparable to the level of unfavorable coverage afforded Trump ... The only person the media quotes in its coverage of Trump is Trump.

"The fact is, he's been on the defensive during most of his 100 days in office, trying to put the best face possible on executive orders, legislative initiatives, appointments, and other undertakings that have gone bad", said Mr. Patterson. As he tweeted a month after taking office, "The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!" One of the best sources for understanding the CFR's control of the Washington establishment was penned by Professor James Perloff, author of The Shadows of Power: The Council on Foreign Relations and the American Decline, in an article appearing at TheNewAmerican.com.

Thanks to the surprising revelations from Harvard's Shorenstein Center there's no longer any need to speculate about the media's deliberate determination to destroy the Trump administration with their biased reporting, if they can.
