Google Assistant will soon let you send money to friends

Google Lens, a piece of software that turns your smartphone camera into a search engine, stole the show on day one of the search giant's I/0 Developer Conference in Mountain View, California.

Google provided a list of features that will be available with their latest mobile OS.

Google has just introduced a service called Google Play App Signing that allows you to store your app signing keys on Google's servers. Pinterest has a similar tool too. In many respects, this is quite the change from the current interface on offer with Android TV, and one which Google notes is created to offer a "channel-based, content-first" sort of Android TV experience. No, we didn't forget about our little blob friends.

'Imagine if you could rush through a drive-thru without reaching for your wallet, or pick up a hot dog at the ballpark without fumbling to pass coins or your credit card to the cashier, ' Bhat said in March when Google revealed the new technology. This feature is not limited to videos, and it may be able to run games and other apps as well.

One potentially unsettling new feature in Photos will let you automatically share some or all of your photos with other people. Essentially, the feature lets you input an "Ok Google" command as well as the reply you wish Assistant gives you for that specific query.

During our earlier coverage of what is new in the first public Android O Beta release (Android O Developer Preview 2), some users noted that we had forgotten to mention the new emojis. Android Go is a new variant of Android O that has been designed specifically for low-cost smartphones such that the code has been optimised for smartphones powered by low-performance processors, less memory, and lower battery backup. (The current version of Android is the N version, Nougat.) It often takes years for a new version of the software to make it to older phones, and never arrives at all for some. Google Assistant on the iPhone can't integrate deeply enough into Apple's iOS operating system to pull off those actions.

Google's computer programs are gaining a better understanding of the world, and now it wants them to handle more of the decision-making for the billions of people who use its services. But for some, its disappearance will make the icon seamless in terms of visuals since the Google Play Store has always been good at complementing the background no matter what the type of wallpaper is used.

Called Android Go, this software will automatically enable data-saving features and will steer users toward apps designed specifically for cheap hardware.
