It's going to be an uncomfortable evening for the Knowles parents when sisters Beyonce and Solange go head-to-head at the BET Awards in June and compete for some of the awards' top prizes.

Queen Bey, who won video of the year with Formation last year, is nominated for the top prize again with Sorry.

Perhaps we can hope to hear a little more of an acceptance speech at the 2017 BET Awards.

The BET (Black Entertainment Television) awards were created in 2001, to celebrate African American music in the US.

Beyonce won the video of the year in 2016 for Formation, which features her lying on top of a New Orleans police auto as it is submerged in water.

Bruno Mars follows with five nods including "Album of the Year, ' 'Best Male R n B/Pop Artist, ' and 'Video of the Year" for 24K Magic. The Knowles sister, Beyonce and Solange, will also compete in the category of best female R&B/pop artist and video of the year. He's als nominated for Video Director of the Year with Jonathan Lia for his song "That's What I Like'".

Chance the Rapper, who scored four nominations and won three Grammys this year, will battle Lamar, Drake, J. Cole, Future and Big Sean for best male hip-hop artist.

She's also nominated twice for best collaboration with Kendrick Lamar's Freedom and Jay Z/DJ Khaled track Shining.

Chance the Rapper and Migos have received four nominations as well.
