- Three young MS men on Thursday were arrested hours after a 6-year-old boy was found shot dead in his mother's stolen auto and the suspects will be charged with capital murder, authorities said. Madison-Rankin District Attorney Michael Guest said he planned to file capital murder charges against each of the three.

The three were arrested after authorities said the mother's vehicle was stolen before dawn Thursday from a supermarket parking lot in Jackson.

The vehicle was found a few hours later in a muddy ditch about 15 miles away from the grocery store.

05/18/2017 2:43pm The second person of interest, 18-year-old DeAllen Washington, is in custody according to law enforcement officers.

Kingston would have graduated kindergarten today at North Jackson Elementary School.

An Amber Alert was issued after the theft and Jackson police chief Lee Vance held an emotional press conference asking whoever had Kingston to bring him home. He was still sitting in the backseat of the car-which was found at the end of a dead-end street about 15 miles away from the Kroger where he was abducted-when he was shot.

An AMBER Alert for a missing boy from the Jackson, Miss. area has been canceled.

Hinds County, JPD and Mississippi Bureau of Investigation are working the case.

Circulating video showed the moment the mother learned of her son's fate, with the mother collapsing and sobbing uncontrollably (see above).

"He's dead and you don't know what it feels like from the day he was born just to say that is just gut wrenching".

"This is the worst thing", a sobbing Deanna Moore, Kingston's aunt, told WJTV as family members wept behind her.

Tonya Harden says her daughter was friends with Kingston. "That baby hadn't done anything to him".

An alert was put out for the missing child, and relatives told the station they had combed the city looking for him. Just a great, great, 6-year-old who we just can't imagine that something like this would happen, that people would have in their heart to do that to a 6-year-old. Those people are evil.

"There are no words to express the anger and sadness over the loss of Kingston Frazier", Bryant said.
