Manchester United manager José Mourinho has stated the Red Devils have given themselves the opportunity to end the campaign in a "perfect way", after securing their place in the Europa League final after Thursday's tense 1-1 draw with Celta Vigo. Especially because he played two Europa League matches, so if we win, he wins the trophy.

Manchester United's Eric Bailly could have his European ban extended after Uefa opened disciplinary proceedings over his red card against Celta Vigo. "So I have to play them but I have to play them mixed, in periods".

"I think it is fair Sergio is going to play the final and David accepts".

United are now in sixth place on the Premier League table, which puts an added pressure on them grinding out a victory in the Europa League decider.

Last season's FA Cup was the only major trophy United had to show in the three seasons since the Scot's retirement, with Mourinho taking over a team needing help. "After 14 matches we are in the final".

Mourinho is not one to bite his tongue when it comes to refereeing decisions, so the final on May 24th should be very interesting indeed. Rostov, one of the sides that dropped out of the Champions League, were also comfortably overcome, although it took extra-time to overcome Anderlecht at the quarter-final juncture.

"But, if everything goes normal and we have no problems, Sergio plays in the final".

Mourinho revealed the Spanish worldwide has accepted his decision, he said: "There's no dilemma, They are two fantastic goalkeepers".

"For a club like Man United to win the League Cup and the Europa League, with the teams that are in it, you would expect them to do that", Keane told ITV. I don't want the players to feel like that.

"We are speaking about Argentina's national goalkeeper and Spain's national goalkeeper". They are so friends and they support each other all the time. I have never seen a bad face.

Mourinho will bemoan the loss of Bailly for that match, however, with the new signing from Villarreal having quickly established himself as United's first-choice centre-back.
