Rain & snow showers to start the weekend

Daytime highs will vary across the region, but should range from the upper 30s to the low 40s.

The unsettled weather is expected to begin overnight, with rain and snow showers moving in just before dawn Saturday. Paddy's Day, Cleveland! Snow and rain mixed showers are now making their way into Northeast Ohio and are expected to persist through Saturday. Early projections call for an estimated coating to 3 inches of snow. Rain will stay mainly south of New York City. There is a possibility we could see a few showers around in the early afternoon and another possibility that one or two showers linger around into tonight. High temperatures should be near 40 degrees Saturday. Mainly on grass and auto tops.

For the start of our next work week there will a slight chance for rain and storms daily until a strong storm system arrives. During the day temperatures do increase to levels above freezing to highs near 40°, so additional snow accumulation is not likely. On Saturday night, look for more snow showers and some snow overnight.

More changes for the weekend forecast includes some lingering rain and snow shower chances for Sunday morning. Temperatures for the upcoming Spring break week are expected to be above normal for this time of year, and we also look to remain dry into Monday and early Tuesday.
