The film appears to have a classic style, while also managing to capture the epic scope of Diana Prince's powers and her part in ending the war-and saving the world.

The biggest secrets behind Wonder Woman are still wrapped neatly and topped with a glittery proverbial bow, but its stars have spilled details about what to expect in a general sense from the flick.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, the film sees the title character train as an Amazon warrior on the Mediterranean island of Themyscira during her early years. Trailer of the film, which seems like a glorious addition to the DC Cinematic Universe, explores the life of Princess Diana while she grew up in Themyscira, oblivious to her true potential.

In the comics, Diana's relationship with Antiope can be fraught.

First - way to build self-esteem, Mom. She's been tasked with training Diana and does NOT hold back. Little Diana asks who would be able to be strong enough to use a sword, and is told "only the fiercest among us even could, and that is not you, Diana". We're certainly not going to tell her what outfits that sword and shield do or don't go with! More challenging than the countless uniformed enemies, however, may be revolving doors. That became the signal for her to enact her duty of saving the world, end the bloody WWI. "In the name of all that is good, your wrath upon this world is over".

Wonder Woman is the latest superhero movie by Warner Bros. And, after Diana's battle cry above, my visceral reaction was pride.

Obviously, Wonder Woman is incredibly powerful. All the reasoning is a think piece for another day, though.
