"Those are criminal leaks, " adding, "The leaks are real". "This is fake news put out by the media". Harward met with top White House officials last week and has the backing of Defense Secretary Jim Mattis. The media were the ones who didn't report that Hillary Clinton got all the debate questions in advance. "I just want to let you know, I inherited a mess". "Another mess I inherited". "It's a mess. At home and overseas, a mess".

Trump made the comments during his opening statement at the press conference.

He pointed to Trump's restarting of the construction of oil pipelines, removal of business regulations, moves to end Obamacare and the ending of Washington's involvement in a free trade pact with Pacific countries. But I'm not ranting and raving. Whatever you think of his policies this was an extremely odd press conference.

"Jobs are pouring out of the country.low pay, low wages, mass instability overseas, no matter where you look. Were going to take care of it all", he said at the news conference.

"We have made incredible progress".

"It's important for Democrats to have intra-party debates on how we can better address the needs of middle- and working-class Americans, but Trump's presidency has provided us with a common enemy and an urgent call to action", said Shannon Jackson, executive director of Our Revolution, a progressive advocacy group and former aide to Sen.

President Trump denied the White House in chaos narrative gathering steam in the media Thursday, saying his administration is running like a "fine tuned machine".

What Trump did in his press conference, at least for those able to ignore the din and their anti-Trump biases, was effectively talk past the media he was so savagely pillorying, and instead talk directly into the living rooms of the American people who elected him. He said, I've known Donald Trump for a long time and then he said, forget it. The White House has been criticized in the United States and worldwide for its handling of a number of issues, including an executive order banning all refugees as well as travelers into the U.S. from seven majority-Muslim countries.

"They're a very powerful nuclear country and so are we". This thing called nuclear weapons like lots of things are done with uranium including some bad things.

"So we have a wonderful group of people that's working very hard", he continued.

At this point, Trump's most significant political setback in his new administration is the 9th Circuit Court ruling against reinstating the president's travel ban. He said, "Russia is fake news".

"Nobody that I know of". I love this. I'm having a good time doing it.

"I own nothing in Russian Federation. People are starting to focus on the illegal giving out classified information".

He said said reports in the media about his administration's relationship with Russian Federation may make it hard for him to strike a deal with Vladimir Putin to ease tensions between Washington and Moscow.
