Popular mobile game Pokemon GO will add a new expansion this week, there will be added 80 Generation two Pokemon to the app.

This suggests that Niantic will be sticking with a staggered rollout of new features and Pokemon to avoid any problems with servers spikes and outages. Followed by new features that will lead to new evolutions, new encounter game play, new berries, new avatars and an expanded wardrobe.

Thought you'd nearly caught all the Pokémon?

New selection of hats, shirts, pants, and other items for trainers to wear. The upcoming update is expected to introduce items that could be featured, purchased or unlocked in the game.

The update will also include new outfit and accessory options for Trainers, Niantic said. As TechCrunch pointed out, there were supposed to be 100 Pokemon in the generation 2 update and not 80. You'll be able to get them from Pokestops, in the same way as you'd collect other items such as lures, eggs and Pokeballs. The Nanab Berry will slow down the Pokemon who ate it. With these, Niantic's previews of new Pokemon, Evolutions, Encounter Gameplay, Berries, and Customization have been explored further.

Notably, player-versus-player battles have still not been confirmed to be coming to the game with the upcoming update and might be eventually added later by the company.

The New Pokedex is the first major update to "Pokemon Go" since it debuted last summer. Past events were likely no indication: extra candy might have attracted the core players out there, but new creatures is exciting to just about everyone.

One of these should be Tyranitar, a Pokemon who many believe could become the new Dragonite in terms of finding one and also strength due to some insane base stats. Let me know your thoughts about the Gen 2 update in the comment section below!
